Orchid of the day

This one is just a quickie post. I had this little jewel bloom last week and finally got around to posting a photo of it. I took the photo with my Samsung Galaxy S cell phone (it automatically used the built in flash so it's a bit "flat").
Blc Sanyang Ruby x Pot. (Orglades x Fuchs Orange Nugget)
The blood orange tree has started putting out buds and a few blooms have already opened. The ones that have opened I've already started hand pollenating. The four oranges I got last year were both fun to grow and eat. I'm hoping for a few more this year...but it's a small tree so I'll hope for just a couple more. :-)
Lastly, it's COLD!!!!!
