It's been a really long time between blog posts so here's a little bit of an update. I've not posted a lot because I just didn't feel like it. I had an inguinal hernia that went from annoying to painful most of the time. So I was doing what I felt like doing and letting a lot of stuff go (greenhouse). Anyway, I've had the surgery and with some mesh and laprascopic surgery I was better in no time. I'm still taking it a little easy when it comes to lifting, but that will come very soon.

I've got a lot of plants and some new koi in the pond so I'll cover those later. The latest additon has been a mix of tadpoles (not sorted) that include tadpoles that will grow to become the following frogs:

The good part is I have them in the pond in floating net baskets that keep the koi out and the tadpoles in while allowing fresh cool water in and out.  There are lots of floating plants to give shelter from the sun and even places to hide if they feel threatened in the baskets.  The little guys are eating like pigs and enjoying crumbs of koi food and decaying vegetalble matter.  The seller stated that there were no bullfrogs or toads in the tadpoles.   I can say I don't see any bullfrog tadpoles at this stage so all is well.
